M&A has decades of experience characterizing subsurface contamination at federal and state-led Superfund sites and mines, as well as at other sites where groundwater has been impacted by industrial or naturally occurring, regulated constituents. We have experience working with contaminants such as arsenic and chromium, industrial solvents, PFCs, 1,4-dioxane, fuel hydrocarbons, coal combustion residuals, metals, and perchlorate, among others. One of our areas of specialization is developing models to project contaminant behavior in complex hydrogeologic environments. Our work has supported successful negotiations between potentially responsible parties and regulatory agencies.
